THE INTERNATIONAL WORLD CONFERENCE WISDOM 2010 is seeking smart, friendly, outgoing university students

To be a “SAHABAT (Liaison Officer) for WISDOM 2010”

Wisdom 2010 has as its principal goal to create a robust, interactive dialogue among academics, experts, media, NGOs, business, and the interested public to address key issues and to recommend policies and solutions.

The Conference will be held from November, 8^th-11^th 2010 at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta.

Qualification:

a. University student (Proved by University Student Card): Men and women, Indonesian or foreign students are welcome to join.

b. Excellent English – written and spoken

c. Other International languages are an asset

d. Previous experience in organizing a conference and/or interacting with foreigners an asset

e. Good computer skills for word processing

f. Strong skill analysis, communication ability, outgoing and friendly

g. Strong ability on problem solving and responding to sudden changes

h. Confident leadership, communication skills, and flexibility

i. Good knowledge of Indonesia culture

j. Interest in current events and changes in Indonesian society

Competencies:

· Ability to work in a team and multicultural setting.

· Ability to work under pressure and maintain responsible behavior.

· Acquire awareness and sensitivity of self and others.

· Ability to be a self-starter, and to take initiative

· Ability to effectively provide related support services to colleagues, escorted guests and other services needed.

· Ability to talk animatedly and well about Indonesia, customs, culture, and social change as seen by the younger generation

Qualified applicants are encouraged to apply and submit their application form along with:
