upcoming event: EDSA WEEK

EDSA Week is an event that will be held by EDSA, that is, English Department Students Association to welcome the new students of English Department in Faculty of Cultural Science, Diponegoro University. It will be held on Monday 5th October until Friday 9th October 2009. There are so many activities, which will be held in EDSA Week. And it intent on developing creativity, interest, talent, leadership, knowledge and everything that can give students a place for students to increase their ability. This event will not only, involve English Department’s students, but also the lecturers and some native speakers.
There are so many interesting activities held to introduce EDSA as the association of English Department’s students. Such as cultural discussion whose theme is Cross Culture Understanding on Monday, October 5, 2009. This discussion will have a foreigner as one of the speakers. So, we will discuss about cross-cultural understanding with native speakers and it will be interesting.
On Tuesday, there will be held a movie screening, that is, Akeelah and the Bee, and also spelling bee exhibition. Movie screening is a routine activity, which oftentimes held by EDSA. It is not only watch and enjoy the movie, but also discuss about every aspect on it. Then, on Wednesday is time for Enormous. Enormous is a debate-club, which is managed by Department of Interest and Talent of EDSA. Enormous stands for English for famous, means, if you want to become famous in Faculty of Cultural Science, you should join this club. Of course, there will be showed debate exhibition by Enormous and also, in the same day, will be held launching of EDSArt, the brand of EDSA in entrepreneurship.
Seminar with title “Kuliah Kelar Organisasi Lancar” will be held on Thursday. On Friday, the last day, will be held Interclass Meeting of 2006-2009 English Department of Faculty of Cultural Science, UNDIP. There are series of amazing EDSA Week. We hope you will come, join and-of course-enjoy our event, which is only for advancement of Faculty of Cultural Science.
